Clockwork-29-1

Zola: “Serena I hear Mr. Dent has RSVPed himself and five others?”

Clockwork-30

Serena: “Yes that’s right Zola. Deanna and I don’t quite know how to handle it.”

Clockwork-31

Zola:”Deanna Mr. Dent must be going off his rocker. Let him know I said one guest or don’t show up.” Deanna: “Ahh ok. Will do.”

Clockwork-32

Clockwork-33

Deanna: “Emma please don’t brag you win the bet. I’ll give you the twenty at lunch.” Emma: “I wasn’t going to brag. I just knew Zola still harbors ill will towards Herman Dent. Lots of history there.”

Clockwork-34

Opal: “Sorry Ms. Russell, but the material will not arrive on time.”

Clockwork-35

Franka: “Opal, how long ago did I give you that order?” Opal: “About two months ago, but I swear I…” Zola: “Excuse me ladies and gentlemen.”

Clockwork-36

Zola: “Sorry to interrupt but I need to speak to you Franka.”

Clockwork-37

Franka: “Sure Zola. Please come sit. Opal, Kyle we’ll finish later.” Opal: “Yes no problem Ms. Russell.”

Clockwork-38

Zola: “Kyle you don’t mind do you?” Kyle: “Not at all Zola.”

Clockwork-39

Zola: “Opal if you want to keep your job, I suggest you follow up on that order and give me a status report by the end of day.” Opal: “Yes Ms. Welton. I’ll get on it right away.”

Clockwork-40

Zola: “Hello Farrah how are you?” Farrah: “I can’t complain. Just very busy.”

Clockwork-41

Farrah: “Oh sorry let me move that.”

Clockwork-42

Franka: “Can I get you something? Making the rounds to the different departments must be tiring.” Zola: “It is, but I don’t need anything thanks.”

Clockwork-43

Zola: “So tell me what’s going on with the line.” Franka: “Well you heard one of the materials is late.”

Clockwork-44

Zola: “And Opal is responsible again. I advised you not to keep her. She is costing us money.” Opal: “I’m not as tough as you. I don’t have the heart to fire someone.”

Clockwork-45

Zola: “It’s not being tough, it’s exhibiting good business sense. Since I bought your company, and the FR brand, Opal has messed up about four times to date. I believe in people a chance, but come on Franka.”

Clockwork-46

Franka: “Ok ok, but not until after Christmas. I really don’t have the heart to do it before.”

Clockwork-47

Franka: ” Zola I truly appreciate that you rescued my company, but can you lessen the amount of times you bring it up?”

Clockwork-48

Franka: “I made some poor choices, managed the finances haphazardly and as a result my designs suffered.”

Clockwork-49

Franka: “I am to blame, but I want to put it all in the past. Can you please put it in the past as well?”

Clockwork-50

Zola: “I’m sorry Franka. It was wrong of me to bring that up.”

Clockwork-51

Zola: “Please accept my apology.” Franka: “Accepted. Anyway I have some new sketches to show you.”

Clockwork-52

Zola: “Oh really! Show me, show me!”

Clockwork-53

Clockwork-54

Franka: “I don’t know if they are really any good, but I just ran with this idea I had.” Zola: “Stop doubting yourself and let me see.”

Clockwork-55

Franka: “Ok here you go, but please be gentle.”

Zola sits examining the sketches for over ten minutes…

Clockwork-56

Clockwork-57

Franka: “You’re killing me with the suspense. What do you think?”

Then Zola raises her head to give her reply.

Clockwork-58

Zola: “These should be thrown in the garbage! Immediately!”

Clockwork-59

Franka: “I knew they were no good. I guess I don’t have it anymore.” Franka: “Geez Franka, I was joking! These are… SHEER BRILLIANCE !!!”

Clockwork-60

Franka: “I believed you the first time. They are crap!” Zola: “THEY ARE INCREDIBLE AND WE’RE HAVING A FASHION SHOW!!!”
