At W Inc. Zola makes her Friday morning rounds to each department. Presently she is in the Marketing office to clear up a matter regarding the guest list for the upcoming cocktail party.

Serena: “Yes that’s right Zola. Deanna and I don’t quite know how to handle it.”

Zola:”Deanna Mr. Dent must be going off his rocker. Let him know I said one guest or don’t show up.” Deanna: “Ahh ok. Will do.”

Deanna: “Emma please don’t brag you win the bet. I’ll give you the twenty at lunch.” Emma: “I wasn’t going to brag. I just knew Zola still harbors ill will towards Herman Dent. Lots of history there.”

Opal: “Sorry Ms. Russell, but the material will not arrive on time.”

Franka: “Opal, how long ago did I give you that order?” Opal: “About two months ago, but I swear I…” Zola: “Excuse me ladies and gentlemen.”

Zola: “Sorry to interrupt but I need to speak to you Franka.”

Franka: “Sure Zola. Please come sit. Opal, Kyle we’ll finish later.” Opal: “Yes no problem Ms. Russell.”

Zola: “Opal if you want to keep your job, I suggest you follow up on that order and give me a status report by the end of day.” Opal: “Yes Ms. Welton. I’ll get on it right away.”

Farrah: “Oh sorry let me move that.”

Franka: “Can I get you something? Making the rounds to the different departments must be tiring.” Zola: “It is, but I don’t need anything thanks.”

Zola: “So tell me what’s going on with the line.” Franka: “Well you heard one of the materials is late.”

Zola: “And Opal is responsible again. I advised you not to keep her. She is costing us money.” Opal: “I’m not as tough as you. I don’t have the heart to fire someone.”

Zola: “It’s not being tough, it’s exhibiting good business sense. Since I bought your company, and the FR brand, Opal has messed up about four times to date. I believe in people a chance, but come on Franka.”

Franka: ” Zola I truly appreciate that you rescued my company, but can you lessen the amount of times you bring it up?”

Franka: “I made some poor choices, managed the finances haphazardly and as a result my designs suffered.”

Franka: “I am to blame, but I want to put it all in the past. Can you please put it in the past as well?”

Franka: “I don’t know if they are really any good, but I just ran with this idea I had.” Zola: “Stop doubting yourself and let me see.”
Zola sits examining the sketches for over ten minutes…
Then Zola raises her head to give her reply.

Franka: “I knew they were no good. I guess I don’t have it anymore.” Franka: “Geez Franka, I was joking! These are… SHEER BRILLIANCE !!!”
